Measurement support

Doors and Patio doors

Measuring instructions for standard doors and sliding patio doors.

Measure width in reveal

Measure the width

Measure the width of the frame opening at three different spots (W1, W2, W3). Always retain the smallest measurement. Do not deduct any tolerance.

Measure height in reveal

Measure the height

Measure the height of the frame opening at three different spots (H1, H2, H3). Always retain the smallest measurement. Do not deduct any tolerance.

18 mm clearance

Required clearance

Check that an 18 mm clearance is available on the frame of your door or patio door to securely attach the guide profile.

Important: Installation between the roller shutter and the window

As the fly screen has a thickness of 18 mm, a clear gap of at least 18 to 20 mm is strictly required between your window and the roller shutter to install the system.

Installation tip: To facilitate installation, it should be possible to temporarily unscrew one of the roller shutter side tracks to smoothly slide the fly screen between the window frame and the shutter.

Tips for taking measurements

  • Measure width and height at multiple spots, and always retain the smallest measurement.
  • Do not deduct any tolerance; the ordered dimensions correspond to the manufacturing dimensions.
  • If the measurements are identical at all points, you may deduct only 2 to 3 mm to facilitate installation.
No-drill installation

Windows with no-drill installation

Measuring instructions for drill-free mounting models.

Measure width without drilling

Measure the width

Take measurements directly from rubber seal to seal inside the window frame. Always retain the smallest measurement. Enter the exact width in mm, without adding or deducting anything.

Measure height without drilling

Measure the height

Take measurements directly from rubber seal to seal inside the window frame. Always retain the smallest measurement. Enter the exact height in mm, without adding or deducting anything.

The window frame must be completely smooth

Required compatibility: Ensure there are no grooves, bumps, ridges, or stops along the entire perimeter. The surface must be completely flat from end to end.

Incompatible configurations: This model is not suitable for sliding windows or double-sash windows. Any frame with a groove, curved profile, or extra thickness that might hinder installation is also incompatible.
